It didn't sound like I imagined, but I still liked it. The clean vocals are very interesting. They don't have the vibrato and bravado and reverberation and other features I would call great singing, but these songs have these intense good vibes and charisma. It overall sounds like very recent metal, but the solos take it back to the 80s or even the 70s. Totally clear here that these guys play exactly what they love.
