늘 잘하던 것을 한결같이 그대로 잘하면서도 지겹다거나 물린다는 생각이 들지 않게 하는게 진짜 실력이지.

great album from Amorphis - variety of melancholic, melodic and heavy gitar music. And also I like the combination of melodic vocals and growling in their performance.

의심없이 올 전반기 최강의 앨범

언제적 Amorphis인데 아직도 이런 폼을 유지하다니! 앞으로도 계속 이 정도는 유지해주리라는 믿음이 생기는 밴드이다.

이제는 잡탕 수준을 넘어선 하나의 장르가 되지 않았나 싶다. 전작에 이어 명반행진중, 이 형님들의 전성기는 현재 진행형이다

There are a lot of beautiful choruses on this album. A lot of the songs feel cleaner and less deathy but like Omnium Gatherum's 2021 album Origin to me, which I like just a little more than this Amorphis album even though people seemed to like Origin less than me. With Halo, it sounds good and catchy but everyone just loves it and I only like it. Maybe I'm weird then.

These guys have been on such an incredible upward trend ever since Tomi joined the group. This album is no exception.

토속적 멜데스의 정수를 보여주는 아모피스의 신보. 전작보다는 약간 포스가 떨어지는 것은 사실이나 그래도 원래 개성이 확실한 밴드기에 항상 인상깊다.

výborné album od fínskej stálice metalovej scény. Amorphis je už zavedené a kvalitné meno, pri ktorom už viem, čo môžem očakávať, skôr ma môžu len prekvapiť (či už pozitívne alebo negatívne). Nedal som najvyššie počty bodov, pretože aj keď je to kvalitné album, mohli v niektorých piesňach viac experimentovať. No ako počúvam často novinku, pridal som + 5 bodov za výborné piesne.

This sounds like Amorphis; the same Amorphis that they have been. Which is exactly why I'm giving this album Very Good. Their trademark guitar work, which is elegant as an upstream river as always, is still there. Plus, the contrast between harsh and clean vocal never fails to picture a sonically distinct view. I don't know what to expect more.

전체적으로 양호한 앨범. 첫 곡 Northwards부터 The Moon까지가 가장 깊이 몰입을 할 수 있는 구간이라고 본다. 그 이후엔 곡들의 편차가 큰데 후반부 몇몇 곡들은 비슷하게 들리기까지 한다.

몇번 들어봐야 알겠지만 이번 신작도 넘 귀에 잘들어온다! 마치 작년초에 닭트랭 신보를 들었을때와 비슷한 느낌이다~

멜로딕, 데스, 포크, 프로그레시브. 맛있게 비벼 한그릇 뚝딱

어느덧 사골맛집이 되어버린거 같긴 한데 그게 미슐랭 3스타짜리라면 할말이 없네요

Under the Red Cloud와 Queen of Time의 연장선에 있는 앨범. 이 두 앨범에 비하면 독창성이 낮다고 생각하지만, 그렇다고 해서 점수를 낮게 주기에는 곡들이 너무나도 좋습니다.

여전히 아름다운 선율과 수준급의 음악을 들려주지만 전작과 거의 흡사하다보니 매너리즘에 빠진 듯한 느낌도 있음. 곡들이 전체적으로 비슷비슷해서 앨범 전체를 감상하기에 좀 지루함.

몇몇 밴드는 굳이 더하고 빼기보단 그저 그대로 두는 것이 더 좋을 것이라 느끼게 된다. 그래서인지 그들은 그대로 뒀고, 그래서 좋다.
