Persefone가 멜로딕 데스 메탈과 프로그레시브 메탈 사이에서 프로그레시브 메탈을 선택했다면, 이 앨범은 멜로딕 데스 메탈을 선택한 앨범. 보다 멜로딕 데스스러운 리프들을 사용해서 각 요소요소에서의 현학성 보다는 원초적인 와일드함을 추구하였다. 그러나 구성 면에서는 역시나 Disillusion식의 완전한 프로그레시브를 보여주며, 매우 뛰어난 완성도를 보여준다. 과년도 발매된 Be'Lakor의 앨범과 더불어, 긴 러닝타임을 갖는 프로그레시브 멜로딕 데스 메탈을 원한다면 가장 추천할 만한 앨범. 전작에서 이들이 음악적으로 완성되었다고 생각했는데, 더욱 발전할 수 있으리라고는 생각지 못했다.

전작에서 약간의 변주를 가미한 아름다운 후속작. 이 정도의 다양성이 있는 음악을 짧지 않은 시간 끝까지 듣기 좋게 만들었다는 것 하나만으로도 말은 다 한 것이다. 다음 번에는 분위기까지 다잡길 바라는 마음.

어우 너무 좋아요. 개인적으로 어려운 프로그레시메탈은 힘들어하는데 멜로디도 좋고 듣기 아주 편함. 사운드의 완성도도 나무랄데 없음. 왜인지 Septicflesh의 향기가 느껴짐.

Disillusion som doteraz nepoznal, avšak rád som napravil túto svoju "nevedomosť" a rozšíril si obzor o ďalšiu podarenú kapelu. Chcem si časom zároveň vypočuť aj ich staršie albumy. Na novinke "Ayam" kombinujú Melodický Doom/Death Metal s Prog. prvkami, pričom pri speve striedajú melodický spev s growlingom/revom. Je to kvalitné a pestré album.

the first thing that attracts me about Disillusion band is that, even though they are from Germany, based on the style of their music, I would guess them to be an English band. They play a varied combination of many metal genres, from Melodic Death Metal, to Dark Doom/Gothic Metal, to Progressive Metal. "Ayam" takes listener on a sonic journey that almost knows no boundaries.

완급 조절, 믹싱, 구성 등등 다소 애매했던 전작에 비해 완벽에 가까운 완성도. 이 중에서 특히 앨범 주제에 걸맞는 드넓은 공간감과 웅장함 속에서 섬세함 까지 잡은 믹싱은 프록메탈의 교과서라고 봐도 무방할 정도로 압권임.
