풍성한 사운드 레이어라는 Deven Townsend만의 장점이 잘 살아있음. 개인적 취향을 떠나 다른밴드들과 차별화되는 유니크한 특성을 가지고 있다는 점에서 높게 평가받을 만함.

여러 가지 흥행요소들을 모두 갈아넣어 한 군데 우려낸 수작. 팝의 멜로디를 골격으로 해서 헤비메탈 사운드로 살을 채워넣고 실험적 요소들로 옷을 입혔다. 결국 좋은 음악이란 장르를 불문하고 이런 것이다-라고 말하는 것 같다.

가장 처음 꽂혔던 데빈의 작품. 데빈 타운센드 입문용으로는 이 앨범이 가장 알맞은듯 하네요. 3번 트랙은 메탈을 듣지 않는 사람들도 좋아하더군요. 모든곡이 좋고.. 특히 4번의 Supercrush와 마지막 Awake!! 강추!

the gathering의 보컬 Anneke van Giersbergen 과 데빈의 보컬능력, 작곡능력이 합쳐져서 대명작을 만들어냈다 다른앨범보다 듣기가 편하다는 특징이 있다

이 또한 정말 최고의 앨범!!!!!! 정말 환상적인 연주를 들려주지만 듣기에도 편하다. 7번트랙은 정말 좋아하는 트랙... 너무 아름답다. ㅜㅜ 이아이아
