거칠고 광폭한 느낌이 부각되있는 수준급의 블랙메탈 사운드. 단순히 과격하게 밀어붙이는 게 아니라 리프 하나하나 놓칠 수 없게 뽑아냈다. 저돌적으로 밀어붙이는 작품.

1번곡인 The Darkest Flame 과 immortal의 The Sun No Longer Rises 가 정확히 생각나는 Guardian of the Coven 강추. 정통블랙메탈의 사운드와 분위기, 거칠고 난폭한 초창기 블랙/데스식의 리프 등등 버릴만한 부분, 실망할 만한 부분이 하나도 없는 사운드이다.
