Thank you Questy for recommending this one. Some Drudkh influence here, and for guys like me, that 's already a must-listen. Like Drudkh, this is thoroughly harsh while decidedly prioritizing the atmosphere, but feels a little folk too. A lot of the best USA black metal these days is very unorthodox. Same here, but don't misunderstand; it's 100% black metal. Also, the rhythmic variety keeps it fresh, start to finish. Overall, gigantic, cathartic, and full of adrenaline.
