Emperor 2집에서 독기를 뺀 순한 맛. 누구나 즐기기 좋은 웰메이드!!!

Most of this album should score 90 or 95. I'm taking off some points for an unnecessary outro and a couple of songs in the first half being less powerful. The orchestrations and composition are really beautiful for most of the album. Good work by Keep of Kalessin.

뭔가 전작의 광기가 훅 사라진 느낌이라 좀 아쉽다 세월이 많이 흐르긴 한듯. 정제된 이느낌이 싫다

8년만에 소식이 너무나도 반가웠다. 여전히 장엄하고 에픽한 분위기는 여전하며, 비장미 넘치는 멜로디 라인들이 귀에 쏙쏙 들어온다. 아주 뛰어났던 3, 5, 6집에 비한다면 약간 아쉽긴 하지만... 그래도 꾸준히 들어볼만한 좋은 앨범.

I do remember Keep of Kalessin went on the stage as a Eurovision contestant back in 2010. As far back as I remember, their performance reminded me of Dimmu Borgir to a certain extent. It is my first time giving them a listen since then. This new release has some bombastic moments but those are not remarkably good. This album would be quite entertaining for those who love powerful and speedy metal with symphonic elements.
