스래시와 정통헤비와 사이키델릭의 적절한 조화. 노래들이 전부 흥겹고 그루브감이 상당하다. 스래시적 리프의 전재에서 공격성을 좀 줄이고 더 묵직하게 만들었으며 이를 감싼 사이키적 사운드와 중간중간 드러나는 프로그레시브한 파트가 기억에 남는다. 취향에 부합하지는 않았지만 재미있는 앨범이었다. 87점.

개별곡들의 개성도 뚜렷하고 컨셉도 명확하면서 앨범 전체적인 흐름도 아주 깔끔하다. 보컬이 호불호가 갈릴 수도 있을듯한데 적어도 나에겐 좋게 들렸다. 후반부로 갈수록 귀에 꽂히는 넘버들이 많아서 높은 점수!

Tool이 박자에 대한 탐구정신을 조금 놓은 채로 헤비메탈(특히 터보러버 시절 주다스)과 스래쉬메탈 사이를 오가는 연주를 한다면 대충 이런 음악이 나올 것 같다. 듣기 괜찮긴 한데 전체적으로 살짝 루즈하다.

They fully captured the essence of what makes thrash fun on this album. These guys produce so much music in so many genres that I just can't keep track. Now this album takes the music industry by storm, and I can see why. Good job guys.

1년에 많게는 5장을 찍어 내던 밴드가 올해 2/4분기가 되어서야 신보를 냈는데 무려 메킹에서 호평 일색이라니 놀라움에 허겁지겁 들어봤더니 중구난방 했던 음악성이 빈티지 헤비메탈로 응집하며 시종일관 묵직하고 기깔나는 그루브에 덩달아 뇌파가 리드미컬하게 들썩인다. 진작에 이랬으면 좋았을텐데 하는 아쉬움 마저 드는 웰메이드 앨범.

앨범 전체가 응집력있게 달려가는 모양새가 훌륭하다. 마음에 들어 밴드의 이전 앨범들 찾아 듣고 장르가 전부 다 상이한 것 때문에 놀란것은 덤.

와 메킹에서 킹기자드를 보게 될 줄이야!! 이 앨범도 좋지만 초중기 킹기자드 앨범들에 길들여진 입장에서는 메탈의 형식을 한 킹기자드일 뿐 새로운 느낌은 많이 없다

이 밴드는 어디서 이런 창조적 영감을 얻을까? 이전앨범 2개 Infest The Rat's Nest의 스래쉬메탈 요소와 Polygondwanaland에서 변박,홀수박 갖고 놀던 것을 합쳐 하나의 앨범으로 만들어낸 것 같기도 하고 모터헤드,툴,마스토돈 3개 밴드의 음악을 섞으면 이렇지 않을까 싶기도 하다. 아직 이를지 모르나 올해의 앨범으로 꼽고싶다.
