Sleepless Empire does improve on their previous standing, but save for that one song it still steers far from the heights I know Lacuna Coil are capable of reaching.

I feel like they didn't have enough to say. There's a handful of good moments. Mostly, the melodies don't feel motivated enough for me, if that makes sense, but she sings so well I can't say anything is bad. A mediocre album. Maybe listen once.
