Lemmy Kilmister는 Another Perfect Day를 녹음하는 과정은 몹시 힘들었다고 한다. Thin Lizzt의 열렬한 팬이었던 Philthy Taylor의 추천으로 밴드에 영입된 Brian Robertson과의 작업은 매우 지지부진했다고 한다. Philthy Taylor야 팬심에서 그렇다치지만 Brian Robertson이 어째서 Motörhead의 가입을 수락했는지는 의문이 간다. 그는 밴드에 가입하면서 Motörhead의 고전 곡들을 연주하는 것도 싫어했으며, 밴드의 연주 스타일, 패션감각도 심각하게 어긋나 있었다. Lemmy Kilmister는 그래서 이 앨범의 제작과정이 고단했기 때문인지 좋아하지 않는 작품이라고 언급한 바 있었다. 하지만, 나중에 이와 같은 의견을 번복되었다. Another Perfect Day는 시간의 무게를 견뎌냈다. 사실 앨범 자체를 돌아보면 이 앨범에 좋은 곡들이 무척 많다는 사실을 확인할 수 있다. 기타가 이렇게 열심히 일하는데 역설적으로 존재감은 바래져있는 음악도 그리많지 않을것입니다. 그렇다고 베이스만 강조해서 믹싱을 해놓은것도 아닙니다. 시종일관 발광일변의 기타이지만 결국 레미의 보컬을 위한 반주에 불과합니다. 빠른템포에서도 느린템포에서도 특유의 감성을 유지하는 독특한 마력이 있습니다. 초기의 록앤롤 맛보다 거친 질주감으로.

Another by the number Motorhead album, which is rather mediocre. While there are no bad songs, this one doesn;t even have a single stand out track.
