In fact this was recorded in September 1975, so technically this is the band's first album. The label refused it and it got shelved, but eventually was released in '79 to cash in on the band's success.

이게 왜 갑자기 사운드가 달라졌나 했는데 멤버들의 동의없이 낸 75년도 구상이었군요. 우리가 높이 평가하게 된 그런 음악은 아니지만 그냥 편하게 들으면 될 것 같습니다.

데뷔작 셀프타이틀 Motörhead 의 강렬한 등장과 연이어 터진 Overkill 과 Bomber 의 열기를 타고, 밴드의 동의없이 멋대로 내놓은 문제작. 데뷔작보다 이른 시기에 레코딩 된것들로, 그야말로 풋풋하고 싱그러운 사운드를 감상할수 있습니다. 명곡들의 프로토타입과 데모버전을 듣는다는 가치도 있으며, 그럼에도 바래지않는 그 근본에 기립하여 거수경례 박게만듭니다.
