Tuonelalle

I love this stormy debut from the guitarist from Astrayed, an independent band. On his own he sweeps in with this full-length that is totally atmospheric, but atmospheric in a very plain old-school kind of way. So many bands are finding a unique mix of black metal with something else, or just making it very weird and unorthodox. Those approaches can be great, but Myrsky's 'straight atmospheric' is great too.
