So nice and mournful. Speaking of which, it is kinda like doom. I was thinking that while listening, then I noticed how some parts are really just plain old black metal but played noticeably slower than usual, which made it sound kinda like doom without being doom, I guess. I also can't help but wonder if the vocals on this one weren't influenced by Caladan Brood. Anyway, a very strong, sweeping album.
