Striker는 데뷔 앨범 Eyes in the Night에서 시원스럽게 질주하는 사운드를 선보여 Heavy Metal 팬들에게서 좋은 반응을 받아냈다. 하지만, 너무 스피디한 전개 일직선이라서 다소 질리는 감도 있어서 아쉬움을 남겼었다. 그랬던 이들이 2년 만에 돌아온 후속작에서 이 문제를 해결했는지에 대해서는 궁금하지 않을 수 없었다. 결과적으로 Armed to the Teeth에서 Striker는 약점을 극복했다고 볼 수 있겠다. Striker에게 있어서 단조로운 전개 속에 담겨있는 질주감 넘치는 사운드는 밴드의 아이덴티티이기에 쉽게 포기할 수 없는 성질의 것이었다. 밴드는 이 부분을 고수한 채 좀더 다채로운 다양한 템포 변화를 시도해 전작의 문제점으로 지목되었던 부분을 해소했다. Lethal Force나 It Could Be Worse, Feed My Fire 같은 곡들은 밴드가 자신들의 약점을 정확하게 인식하고 있었으며, 동시에 적절한 해결책을 제시했다는 사실을 증명하고 있다. 하지만, 본작에 수록된 곡들 중에서 가장 눈에 띄는 트랙은 역시나 잘 달리는 곡들이다. Wolf Gang을 비롯하여 Forever, Fight for Your Life, All the Way 등 Striker의 본질을 직접적으로 드러내고 있는 곡들이 좀더 호감이 간다. 하지만, 밴드가 좀더 씬내에서 입지를 견고히 하기 위해서는 좀더 다양한 시도가 필요한 것은 분명해 보인다 ... See More
