My 529th most played Album. Jimi Hendrix - Axis Bold As Love. His second album from 1967. Rolling Stone ranked Axis: Bold as Love number 82 on their list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. Great songs, "EXP", "Up from the Skies", "Spanish Castle Magic", "Wait Until Tomorrow", "Ain't No Telling", "Little Wing", "If 6 Was 9", "You Got Me Floatin'", "Castles Made of Sand", "She's So Fine", "One Rainy Wish", "Little Miss Lover" and "Bold as Love".

힌두신화 모티브의 앨범커버 이미지가 음악과 절묘하게 어울립니다. 헤드폰으로 감상하면 거의 환각작용을 일으키는 스테레오 사운드로 어질어질하게 만들며 문을 열더니, 인도 특유의 향내가 감도는 듯한 몽롱한 기타톤에 쫀득쫀득한 퍼즈사운드와 유니바이브로 만들어내는 악곡들이 황홀경을 선사합니다. 뿌연 연기에 취해 꿈꾸는 듯한 분위기가 일품입니다.

앞뒤로 쩌는 명반 사이에 껴서 언급이 덜 돼 아쉽다.두 명반 못지않은 훌륭한 곡들이 다수 포진되있다. 여기서 '다수'의 진짜 의미는 1번을 제외한 모든 곡들^^ 고로 100점을 줄 수밖에 없다.
