Tribulation na novom albume "Tribulation" ponúkajú kombináciu Gothic/Dark Metal -u s občasnými (ale ozaj len občasnými) prvkami Death -u (hlavne v občasných vokálnych linkách). Album má dobrý zvuk, nápady a spev kombinuje hlboký (mužný) melodický spev s revom (chrapotom). Po hudobnej stránke mi pripomenuli kapely ako The 69 Eyes (albumy "Blessed Be" a "Paris Kills") a Secret Discovery (album "Slave").

The gothic metal of this album really hit the spot for me. Even the softer moments don't feel like filler. Thank you Tribulation.

뜬금없이 나오는 느끼한 테너톤의 목소리는 Moonspell이나 Type O Negative가떠오르고, 몇몇곡의 레트로한 분위기의 흥겨운 반주는 Ghost의 음악을 듣는듯하다. 시도는 좋았으나 이미 이쪽에선 더 훌륭한 밴드들의 음악이 있다보니 좀 아쉽다.
