Mikael Stanne de Dark Tranquillity dijo de este trabajo: "El cuarto álbum de estos maestros del Death Metal oscuro y gótico es prácticamente la perfección. La composición de canciones es superfuerte y la sensación y la atmósfera son las indicadas". Y estoy totalmente de acuerdo con él.

Tribulation의 앨범들이 대게 그러하듯이 높은 평가를 받았으며 변함없는 사운드를 들려주지만, 이상하게도 개인적으로는 전혀 취향이 아님. 'The Children of the Night'와 'Where the Gloom Becomes Sound'를 훨씬 더 좋아함.

멜로딕데쓰에 거부감이 없는 사람이라면 충분히 즐길수 있는 앨범이다. 작년말부터 이만한 앨범을 구경하지 못해서 그런지 몰라도 아주 즐겁게 들었다.

3집을 뛰어넘는 수준은 아니더라도 충분히 만족스러운 복귀작이다. 마침내 스타일의 정립을 보여주는 듯한 전작의 연장선에 있는 작품이며, 이들 특유의 개성과 뛰어난 역량 또한 여전하다. 전작에 비해 진중한 느낌은 약간 줄었지만 대신 깔끔한 레코딩과 줄어든 길이로 보다 가볍게 들을 수 있는 작품이다.

매끄럽고 세련되졌으면서 멜로디는 더 좋아졌다. 이런 변화를 받아들일수 있다면 만족스러운 앨범일듯. 나는 정말 좋다. p.s. 들으면 들을수록 헤어나오기가 힘들다..

저번앨범에 비해서는 좀 아쉽다. 1,2집 시절보다 음악도 많이 약해졌다. 하지만 저번 앨범과 비슷하게 분위기와 멜로디는 아름답다.
