I loved the combination of chilling out, meditative, & industrial feels. Toward the end, there are some high-pitched beeps that might really hurt your ears, so be warned. Besides that warning, I have only extremely positive things to say about this awesome album.

Please stop thinking about the black metal past of the Ulver's career. The album itself is a great moody and atmospheric electronica with distinct story-telling vibes. I was so pleased to witness the Ulver's capability to weave a tale of sinister film noir escapades into their music out of the black metal category. The harmonies between the noirish synth sound and the down-tempo beats craft the gloomy and down-in-the-mouth atmosphere.
