버릴곡이 하나도 없는 눈물콧물줄줄 블랙메탈! 멜로디면 멜로디 보컬이면 보컬 연주면 연주 뭐 하나 빠지는게 없다. 해골뼉다귀가 만드는 음악에서 사악함 뿐만 아니라 요상하게 생명력이 느껴진달까. 91.5점.

러닝타임이 쓸대없이 좀 긴게 흠이지만 와테인만의 특징인 황량하면서도 서정적인 분위기를 블랙메탈에 잘 버무렸다. 진짜 어두운 멜로디 속으로 빠져든다..

다소 극단적으로 말하자면 Watain은 본작만 체크해도 무방하다. 이거 말고는 들을만한 앨범이 없다는 의미가 아니라 그만큼 이 앨범이 특출나다는 생각이 든다.

사악함, 강렬함, 멜로디, 분위기까지 어느 하나 부족함이 없는 작품이다. 70분이 넘는 긴 작품이지만 딱히 지루함도 느끼지 못했다. 여기에 앨범커버까지 마음에 든다.
