Raw & atmospheric aren't enough for this album. There are gregorian chants and folk arias between tracks. As you might be guessing, it's bleak, eerie, and freezing. I think one scream in the first half somewhere was a little awkward. Besides that, everything is well written and well played, especially for a debut from a one-man band.
