1. Part I - The Mystagogue (4:19)
1. After eleven days and eleven nights, The Word Bearer ascended from the darkness of the cave, touched by the grace of his revelations. Grasped between his hands, a new truth in the shape of a tome he bore.
2. Long was the path that took Him to that very moment, but as one journey ended, a new one commenced. He headed towards the nearest town, a place were He knew His message was needed.
3. There He saw the crowd at the market, and with merciful eyes He saw how lost they were, for those who nourish the body but not the soul are bound to nothingness.
4. The Word Bearer stood in the middle of the crowd and thus He spoke: 'My children! Do you not see what is of you, walking aimlessly through life? Do you not see that you are nothing but empty shells? For as long as you neglect the Truth, you may as well die today.'
5. One of the attendants in the crowd asked 'And what truth is that? We already know what we need to know about life and death.' 'My child' said The Word Bearer, 'Let the light of truth pour down your throat from The Black Chalice, drink from the fountain of Lethe and let your mind be free of the pollution brought by false prophets. Learn of what you can become if you free yourself from your old life, as the serpent sheds its skin. Embrace your destiny as one of the Children of Rebellion, for we are the Mesu Betesh!'
6. Thus said, he raised the tome he was bearing, and the day became night for as long as The Black Chalice shone in front of the crowd. The Word Bearer then left then town, followed by those who understood the true meaning behind his words. And on that day, the Mesu Betesh were born.
