Part IX - Rise of the Hierophant Lyrics

1. The Word Bearer knew that his time was coming to an end, now that the flame of true Gnosis had ignited the hearts of men. He looked around him and saw the many faces of the once lost, the faces of those who now had left the machine behind and were on the verge of becoming living beings. The Awaken had begun.
2. He said: "this I tell you now so that you may cherish and truly understand: we are transmuted from being creations of the past to becoming creators of the future, and by this we must deconstruct ourselves, to be built anew in the light of the Black Flame and to be purified in the waters of the Black Chalice.”
3. Having said this, he turned away from the crowd and descended into the cave, as the sky turned black and a ray of shadows touched his forehead.
4. And as the Word Bearer descended into the embrace of the earth the ground shook and the staring gap of darkness closed, embracing the Iconoclast with the weight of eternity.
