순수블랙메탈의 정의와는 약간 거리를 두고 있지만 사색에 잠기고 싶을때 분위기를 잡을수있는 감상용 블랙메탈로 본작은 훌륭한 요소들을 많이 가지고있다. 바이올린과 피아노를 양념처럼 적재적소에 활용하면서 비장하고 서정적인 멜로디를 맘껏 뿜어내며 전체적으로 클래시컬하며 아련한 느낌을 가득 담아내고 있다. 10분전후의 대곡들로 가득채운 러닝타임으로 인해 약간 늘어지는 느낌이 있긴하지만 멜로디와 분위기가 워낙 좋아 그걸 상쇄하고도 남는다. 특히 폭주하는 마덕류의 패스트블랙을 감상한후 어지러운 귀를 정화시키는데 안성맞춤이다. 다소 약하게 녹음된 기타와 보컬의 아쉬움이 가점의 방해요소로 작용하지만 그럼에도 90점이상을 줄수밖에없는 치명적인 아름다움을 가진 엣모스페릭 엠비언트 블랙의 명반으로 손색이 없다.
