이 앨범을 기점으로 밴드의 방향성을 틀기 시작했다라고 생각된다.... 메탈리카가 5집(블랙앨범)부터 슬슬 변절(?ㅋ)의 기미를 보이기 시작하면서 이후 Load/Reload 앨범을 선보이며 커밍아웃을 한 느낌이랄까.... 본인들이 추구하는 'n' Roll에 힘을 주며 보컬이나 연주 분위기또한 이전의 것들과는 사뭇 다르게 가져간다.... 가볍게 들을수 있는게 장점이랄까?

death n roll a groove metal. Celkom zaujímavá zmena, pár fans sa tento album vôbec nepáčil, aj keď nie je to nejaký veľký štýlový obrat.

데스메탈 + 록앤롤.약간의 펑크적인 요소를 가미했다.그래도 death n roll 이라는 새로운 스타일을 만들어냈지만 예전 이들의 사운드가 더 맘에 든다.
