album "A Velvet Creation" predkladá podarená Melodický Death Metal s kvalitnými gitarami a agresívnym revom. Jedinou nevýhodou albumu je zvuk bicích - ten zneje až príliš plechovo (mohol to zvukár trošku lepšie zvládnuť).

At the gates 2집과 더불어 진짜 멜로딕 데스메탈이라고 붙일 수 있는 앨범. 이것을 말만 데스메탈인 보통의 멜데스라고 까는 것은 캐즘 전집 이나 아모피스 1집 셉틱플래시 1집을 멜로딕 데스메탈이라고 하는 것 만큼 우둔하다.

보물찾기로 찾아낸 '주옷'같은 앨범. 이 앨범이 가지고 있는 장점은 '비싸게 팔린다.' 뿐이다.
스웨덴 멜로딕 데스의 시작점이라는 상징성만큼이나 거대한 따분함과 어거지스러움을 담고있는 앨범이다. Floating에서의 트레몰로 멜로디와 반전은 처참할 정도.

프로덕션이 뭔가 구리구리하면서도 대책없이 달달하다;; 귀가 녹아버릴 지경이고 리프들도 하나같이 지나치게 달달한 멜로디가 주를 이룬다.
