It's a enjoyable doom metal album. Analyzing it coldly, it's just a good album, nothing more. The first track "Ulvaskall (Vargr)" is excellent. The rest, just good. It's very difficult to make a doom metal album without sounding monotonous (I'm saying this as a doom metal fan). But as far as it goes, Grand Magus does a good job here. Best ones: Ulvaskall (Vargr)
