Dance of Death Comments

I think I'm brave enough to say it: Dance Of Death is an insanely good album and definitely in the top-3 of Iron Maiden's releases. The song material is really versatile and of high quality and there is not a single dead moment on the album. Dickinson's vocal performance is incredible considering her already relatively old age. The album is really underrated and if you manage to turn your eyes away from the shocking cover art, you might be positively delighted.

I love Brave New World. Finally, Iron Maiden got the courage not to play the same thing over and over again. Dance Of Death is a solid album, after that it went downhill.

Underrated album.

아이언 메이든의 부활을 알린 Brave New World보다 더 좋았다. 앨범의 커버 이미지가 상당히 별로지만 메이든의 또다른 명작이라 불릴 자격이 충분함.

전작과 더불어 연타석으로 안정적인 앨범이 나왔다. 전작과 비교하자면 전작이 더 어둡고 이번 앨범은 밝다고 느껴진다. 다만 전작이 좋아서 이 앨범까지 찾아 듣고 많이 들어서 기억이 나야 할텐데 기억이 남는 곡은 없었다. 이게 다 이상한 앨범커버 때문에 끌리지 않지 않았을까 의심하게 된다. 도대체 왜? 곡 편차도 없고 괜찮게 들었다.

눈앞에 있다면 사커킥을 날려버리고 싶을 정도의 충동을 불러일으키는 빨간바지 꼬맹이악마, 쌩뚱맞게 있는 하얀마음 백구까지.. 유치하다고 하기에도 먼가 기괴한 역대 최악의 앨범커버때문에 2점을 뺀다 그래서 나의 평점은 93점(반올림해서 95점)

My favorite maiden album, many awesome songs that are very underrated

놀라울정도로 형편없는 커버 아트때문에 과소평가되는 앨범. 팬들도 평론가들도 모두 욕했으며, 브루스 디킨슨도 후에 '부끄럽다'고 말했을 정도. 음악자체는 상당히 괜찮은 편으로, 개인적으로 'Fear of the Dark' 이후 앨범들 중 'A Matter of Life and Death'와 함께 가장 좋아함.

Another great album from maiden. Paschendale is one of the band's greatest ever songs and simply one of the best songs ever written.

Not as good as the band's 80's output. But a really good album. Highlights: Dance of Death, Paschendale, No More Lies

Better than the reunion

약간 힘을 뺀 메이든표 앨범

여태까지 나온 아이언메이든 앨범중 기타 솔로만은 최정상급 퍼포먼스를 들려주는 작품. 곡들의 길이가 꽤 긴데도 그리 지루하지않습니다. 기타리프 한소절만 들어도 아이덴티티가 느껴집니다. 초기작들은 개인적으로 뭔가 허전한 사운드라는 느낌을 받는데, 본작은 그런 느낌이 없습니다. 다만 어처구니없는 감각의 커버이미지가 너무 큰 결점으로 다가옵니다.

3번과 5번 트랙 최고!!

제대로 모든곡을 들어 보진 않았지만, 차분해진 메이든 후반기는... 특히 가사를 조금 음미 해봐야 하나 하는 생각이 든다...

Wildest Dreams와 Rainmaker는 한때 미친듯이 반복재생했었다.

Dance Of Death 정도는 수작. 앨범커벅가 부담스럽다.

[Brave New World] 앨범의 연장선에 있는 Dance Of Death는 물론 쓰리기타의 매력이 듬뿍 담긴 Journeyman과 다음앨범에 대한 구상을 미리 보여주는 Paschendale의 조화가 함께 공존하는 앨범

"메이든?? 아니 이게 메이든? 아... 메이든.. "라는 느낌을 반복하게 만드는..;

Love this album probably one of their best releases yet.
