Good live album for fans of Iron Maiden, because it gives us some of those jewels from their discography that we haven’t heard in a long time. It might not be an ideal way to introduce someone to the band, however, since it doesn’t show them at their best. Iron Maiden concerts are an amazing experience, and you should absolutely catch them the next time that they play near you; regrettably, this album fails to capture that glory at a level that does the band justice.

아이언 메이든 라이브의 백미는 현장감인데 이번 앨범은 관중소리를 너무 죽여버린게 좀 아쉽다. 하지만 그와 반대로 밴드의 연주가 더 잘 들리는게 장점인 앨범이다. 디킨슨의 목소리는 나이에 맞게 노쇠한게 서글프지만 열정만은 아직도 20대인 듯해서 마음이 놓인다.

아이언 메이든의 데뷔 앨범은 1980년에 나왔고 디킨슨은 1958년생이다. 너무나 익숙한 셋리스트와 세월을 숨길 수 없는 디키슨의 목소리에 대한 실망이 조금은 줄어들고, 살아있는 전설에 대한 존경이 조금 더해질 라이브 앨범아닐까.

좋은 곡들이 너무 많아 무슨 라이브 앨범을 들어도 선곡에 불만이 조금은 남을 수 밖에 없다. 다 좋지만 안타깝게도 디킨슨옹의 목이 확실히 파워가 떨어진 게 느껴진다. 근데 베일리 시절의 두 곡에 힘이 빠진 디킨슨옹의 목소리가 2001년때보다 더 잘 어울린다는 게 특이점.
