Lonewolf의 데뷔 앨범 March Into the Arena는 썩 재미가 있는 작품은 아니다. Lonewolf는 독일 파워 메탈 씬의 거두인 Grave Digger과 Running Wild의 영향 아래에서 밴드 경력을 시작하였지만, 이들의 첫 정규앨범을 들어보면 그들이 좋아하는 밴드들을 조합했더라도 썩 매력적으로 다가오지는 않는다. 밴드는 헤비/파워 메탈의 정통적인 접근 방식을 택하고 있지만, 흥미진진한 면모를 보이진 않고 있다. 일단 수록곡들에서 멜로디 라인이 일단 심심할 뿐만 아니라 트랙들의 전개도 탄력적이기 보다는 늘어지는 측면이 강하다. 이 밴드 고유의 것이라고 할 만한 것도 이 앨범에서는 선명하게 나타나고 있지 않다. Lonewolf의 첫 스튜디오 앨범은 총체적으로 문제가 있는 작품이라고 할 수 있을 것 같다. 이 밴드의 팬이 아니라면 들을 필요가 없는 작품이라 생각된다.
