Angels Fall First Comments

I find myself skipping the slow intros. They got carried away putting too many of those moments in this album, making it longer than it needed to be. Other than that, it's easy to hear it's pretty good. Medium enjoyable for me.

To fans of Folk Metal, this is not quite a pure version of your preferred music, but it is quite charming nonetheless. Power and Gothic Metal fans may also find some things on here to like, although the next 2 albums are much more glorious power metal records. Although this album has the weakest production of anything I’ve ever heard by them, it's still a decent debut, and shows the great amount of potential that spawned in the group's music.

In my opinion, it is a weak album. The band is still very inexperienced. It has cool songs like "elven path" inspired by Tolkien's work and "Beaulty and the Beast"

개인적으로 Royal Hunt와 유사한 분위기가 느껴지는 밴드이다. 여성 보컬이 밴드와 잘 어울린다는 생각이다. 시중에 저렴한 가격으로 몇몇 앨범을 구할수 있어서 좋았다.... 다른 앨범도 찾아볼 계획이다....

The album is averagely good. Some tracks were boring to listen. But in the next ones, they improved a lot.

Mediocre debut for Nightwish. The more Gothic songs here are the best, but it's inconsistent.

장르를 만들었다는 것 만으로도 대단한데 데뷰앨범이 이 정도니 핀란드 국민 밴드가 됐지...

Auch schon auf den ersten Nightwish Album kann man viele Elemente finden welche die Band später so stark gemacht haben, das erste Album wirkt aber noch unausgereift.

개인적으로 나이트위시 최고의 명반으로 생각한다. 앨범 전반적으로 고른 수준의 명곡이 즐비하여 질릴 틈이 없다.

나이트위시는 데뷔작부터 꽤 유려한 멜로디를 만들 수 있는 능력을 보여주었다. 물론 첫 작품이라 약간의 어색함은 있었지만, 데뷔작으로 이정도 퀄리티를 뽑아낸 것은 충분히 박수받을 만 하다.

여성 소프라노보컬을 이용한 독특한음악으로 굉장히 대중적으로 성공한 밴드이지만, 제겐 전혀 와닿지 않았습니다. 이렇게 억지로 여성 성악보컬을 넣어서 버무린 것은, 맛의 균형이 전혀 맞지않는 퓨전요리 같습니다. 클래식은 클래식, 재즈는 재즈, 국악은 국악. 각장르마다 룰과 변주의 범위, 기본이있듯, 메탈에도 기본은 있어야한다고 생각하는 주의입니다.

나이트위시의 세련된 스타일은 보기 힘들지만 이정도면 수작이라고 생각한다

1번 빼고 나머지는 별로.......

풋풋함으로 커버가된다. 나름 빡쎈것도 이 앨범만의, 이들의 처녀작의 매력이라 생각한다.

아련한 느낌이 강하게 묻어나오는 앨범.

아직은 덜 여문 작품이지만 향후 앨범의 초석을 다진 중요한 앨범이다.

나이트 위시의 첫작품은 다른 앨범과 다르게 고딕적인 느낌이 상당히 강하다~자켓 사진처럼 전체적으로 쓸쓸하고 아름다운 멜로디가 일품인 앨범이다~쓸쓸한 고딕풍의 음악을 찾는다면 이앨범을 들어보시길~~

사실 이 때는 신기한 앨범 이상도 이하의 느낌도 없었던 것 같다. 과도기라고 포장하기에도 좀 벅찬 앨범. 투오마스 보컬링 들어보면 국밥이라도 한 그릇 사먹이고 싶다. 허허 젊은 사람이 기운이 이렇게 없어서 쓰나? (수정 : 2020.10.13.)
