Pig Destroyer의 4집 앨범. 예전 단순하고 파괴적이며 지랄발광적이었던 1,2집에서, 3집부터는 좀 더 메탈릭해지고 다듬어진 느낌이 들었었다. 이어서 이 앨범에서는 그 변화가 포텐터졌다고 보는데, 이들의 혼란스럽고 광기 어림은 퇴색되지 않고 잘 유지해주었다. 이런 파괴적 그라인드를 기반으로 데스메탈,스래쉬메탈,그루브메탈,메탈코어 등의 특징적인 요소들을 한데 모아 잘 버무려주었다. 훨씬 더 메탈릭해진 건 자명한 사실이고, 리프 면에서 보면 상당히 다이내믹해지고 다채로워졌다. 해서 쉽게 질리지 않고 반복해서 들어도 각 곡들이 색다르게 들려온다. 보컬 또한 생 그라인드 보컬에서, 메탈스러워진 음악에 맞게 잘 다듬었다(과거에 비해 성량이 떨어진건지는 모르겠지만). 또, 이 앨범에는 베이스가 배제된 채로 만들어졌는데, 그 공백이 티가 나지 않을 정도로 사운드상으로는 충분히 즐길 수 있게 빠방하게 뽑혀져나왔다. 이 정도면 전보다 음악적으로도 성숙해졌고, 밴드의 음악적 정체성이라든지 방향이 잡힌 역작이라고 생각한다. 뷰티풀한? 앨범 커버와 더불어 내용물까지 내 마음에 쏙 든 앨범이다. 그리고 마지막 보너스 트랙은 한밤중에 야외에서 풀벌레 소리를 벗삼아 라디오?를 듣는 상황이 7분 가량 연출되는 ... 12번 트랙 The girl in the Slayer jacket을 듣고 풋풋했던 시절 첫사랑을 떠올렸으나 노래의 결말은 비극이네. "The girl in the Slayer jacket Gave me my first kiss......"
