Album of the day #262. Pretty Maids - Pandemonium. This Danish band has been making music for 36 years. They have sold hundreds of thousands of records, but have never broken through in a major way, except in Japan during the 1990s. They have supported well known bands as Black Sabbath, Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, and Saxon, and were also featured at the 1987 German version of Monsters of Rock, where Metallica headlined along with Deep Purple. Great melodic metal with great guitar and vocals and songwriting. I love this band play them loud you should look up all their albums you can thank me later!

이 앨범을 나름 부활작으로 본다. 기존에 라이브로 만족감을 얻은 상태에서 이 정규 앨범을 듣고서 굉장히 만족하고 모으기 시작한다. 1번이 이 앨범에 대한 인식을 좋게 할 정도로 강하게 밀어붙인다. 전체적으로 괜찮은 앨범이고 대략 88점이면 되지 않을까 생각한다.

예전보다 단순히 헤비해진 게 아니라, 노선을 헤비메탈로 바꾸고 있다. 하지만, 멜로디 자체는 그닥 화려하지 않아서 심심한 느낌은 남아있다. Pretty Maids 디스코그래피상 5손가락 안에 든다고 생각하는 킬링트랙 1번, 군더더기 없이 깔끔하면서도 헤비한 7번트랙 추천.
