"Virgin Killer" wows the listener with a fresh Rocking sound and an all around tighter musical base. Songs are catchier, more polished and Klaus Meine’s vocals are great. It was the band's 1st album to attract markedly attention outside Europe. Title is described as being a reference to time as the killer of innocence. Original cover featured a nude prepubescent girl, which stirred controversy. As a result, the album was re-issued with a different cover.

이 음반을 처음 접한게 초등학교 졸업할 무렵이었다. 이 음반을 듣고 스콜피온스를 파기시작했다. 공교럽게도 어머니께서 일판 LP를 갖고 계셨다. 지금은 당연히 판매금지....
