Face the Heat

이 앨범 alien nation이나 마이네 형님이 쇠긁는 보컬을 보여주는 woman때문에라도 다시 검토해줘야 할 앨범. 단지 기억에 이 두곡을 라이브로 하는 것을 못봄. woman은 skid row의 quicksand jusus, steel heart의 i'll never let you go 같이 살짝 묻혀져 있는 좋은 락발라드라고 생각한다.

"Face the Heat" is Scorpions twelfth studio album and and offers a typical combination of Hard Rock songs and a few ballads. It is the last album to feature drummer Herman Rarebell and the first with Ralph Rieckermann on bass guitar.

Decent Scorpions album. Not as good as their peak in the 80's, but still a lot of good songs.

마음에 드는 곡들이 항상 있는 것은 아니다.

1,2,4,6이 주요곡들인데 개인적으로는 1,3,4를 좋아함. 당시 미국 메인스트림의 영향 때문인지 분위기가 좀 가라앉았음. 그래도 이때 처음으로 내한해서 스콜피온스에 추억이 있는 내 이전세대 팬들에게 큰 화제였었음. 막 인삼도 선물하고 그랬음

이것저것 썩인 묘한 분위기의 앨범......
