It almost breaks the rules of quantum physics how the stunning climaxes come again and again. This album is everything: cold, evil, head-bopping, & full of attitude. Also, there're some top-tier solos on it. Yes it's in a deeply melodic style, but also feels kinda pagan in some melodies, and has some folky parts that integrate into the metal perfectly. Some of us might be suspicious of all those short interludes because they usually detract from an album, but they don't here.
