Yami yo ni ayanasu chimimouryou no mure
meifu no mukuzu to hikisakan
todoroku raimei sono sakebi no hate ni
guren no hi wo ageru jigoku e

musunda in ni nasake wo kome
shizumaru tamashii yomi no soko de nemure
awarenaru saga wo wasuresari

「東海(とうかい)の神、名は阿明(あめい)
　西海(せいかい)の神、名は祝良(しゅくりょう)
　南海(なんかい)の神、名は巨乗(きょじょう)
　北海(ほっかい)の神、名は禺強(ぐきょう)
　四海(しかい)の大神(たいしん)、全知全能(ぜんちぜんのう)の力を以(も)ち、
　百鬼(ひゃっき)を避(しりぞ)け、凶災(きょうさい)を蕩(はた)う
　我、常に月将(げっしょう)を以(もっ)て占時(せんじ)に加へ、
　日辰陰陽(にっしんいんよう)を見る者なり」

荒ぶる森羅(しんら)の魔物達よ
羅睺(らご)の夜に目覚めん
掲げる桔梗(ききょう)の星の上に
開かる光と陰の門

闇より出(い)でたる魔性を祓(はら)い去る
光放つ十二神将(じゅうにしんしょう)
我が足に集い呪詛(のろい)を込めて飛べ
此の世の和を結ばんが為

光は闇を裂き 風は雲を散らす
万象(ばんしょう)の力よこの両手の力と変れ

渦巻く暗雲(くらくも)天を殺し
現る凶事(きょうじ)のうなりか
地獄に這(は)いずる蟲の如(ごと)く
のたうつ哀れなる怨霊

舞い踊る邪気に朱(しゅ)の霊符を放ち
冥土(めいど)送りの唄を唱う
戦慄(わなな)く魔魅達を喰らう式神ども
骨を食み血肉を啜(すす)れよ

光は闇を裂き 風は雲を散らす
万象の力よこの両手の力と変れ

今は昔、京の都に
人ならぬ力を操る者有り。
古井戸より冥界へと行き来し、
死者と語り物怪(もののけ)とたわむる。
数多(あまた)の式神を使役(しえき)し、
満月の夜には魔物に跨(また)がり
天を駆けたという。
其(そ)の者を人は、陰陽師(おんみょうじ)と呼ぶ。

闇夜に綾(あや)なす魑魅魍魎(ちみもうりょう)の群れ
冥府の藻屑(もくず)と引き裂かん
轟(とどろ)く雷鳴その叫びの果てに
紅蓮(ぐれん)の火を上げる地獄へ

還(かえ)れ魔の民よ二度と目覚めぬ様
結んだ印に情けを込め
鎮(しず)まる魂 黄泉(よみ)の底で眠れ
哀れなる性(さが)を忘れ去り

光は闇を裂き 風は雲を散らす
万象の力よこの両手の力と変れ

English Translation:
"The god of eastern sea, its name: Amei. The god of western sea, its name: Shukuryou.
The god of southern sea, its name: Kyojou. The god of northern sea, its name: Gukyou.
The great god of all four seas, driving away monsters and cleansing away calamities with its almighty power
I always include the month's zodiac sign in divination, therefore I am able to see the sign of the day, and ying and yang."

O every raging demon, awaken on the night of Rahu
Over the upheld Chinese bellflower star [pentagram], opens the gate of light and shadow

Purifying away the devilishness coming from the dark are the shining twelve divine generals
Gather at my feet, and with your curse fly to bring peace to this world

Light tears the darkness, wind scatters the clouds
O power of all nature, become the power of my hands

Whirling dark clouds kill the sky, is it the groan of an appearing calamity?
Like insects crawling in hell writhe the pathetic vengeful spirits

Shooting vermilion charms at the dancing miasma, singing the song of banishment
You shikigami that devour trembling monsters, eat their bones and slurp their flesh and blood

Light tears the darkness, wind scatters the clouds
O power of all nature, become the power of my hands

"Long time ago, in the capital, there were those who had superhuman powers.
They could freely enter the netherworld through an old well and talk with the dead and play with ghosts.
Employing many shikigami, on nights when the moon was full, they rode demons
and flew in the sky. People called them: onmyōji."

The group of evil spirits patterning the moonless night tear apart into scraps of seaweed of the netherworld
Roaring thunderclap, after its roar, into hell where crimson flames rise

Return demons, so you may never awaken again, I place sympathy into the bound seal
Calming souls, sleep in the bottom of the underworld, leave behind your miserable nature
