鬼と女(おなご)は見えぬぞよろし　古の書に伝えて謂(い)うは
鬼神(かみ)であれども鬼魅(おに)といえども　荒ぶる神の遠縁者(とおえんじゃ)

片目潰され案山子(かかし)にされて　囚われたるは祝殿(いわいてん)
崇り恐れて贄(にえ)を祀りて　我が身可愛や神祭り

丑虎(うしとら)の門開きてみらば　挙(こぞ)りて集う夜叉(やしゃ)の群れ
己が堕落を打算で隠すは　孩児(がいじ)を屠る間引き鬼

屍気(しき)漂いし憂(う)き山の　静寂(しじま)に浮かぶ祝殿
今や鬼神(きしん)の形は物　永久(とこしえ)の我が庵(いお)か

人の畏怖(いふ)は堂々巡
ちんがり捲(めく)らの御法神(ごほうしん)
生きつ絶えつ鬼となりて
心の闇に現在(いま)もひそみ続けしと

獄卒だとて祖霊(そりょう)と崇めしや
貌(かたち)を得たり御霊(ごりょう)の天の邪鬼(じゃく)

人の畏怖(いふ)は堂々巡
ちんがり捲(めく)らの御法神(ごほうしん)
生きつ絶えつ鬼となりて
心の闇に現在(いま)もひそみ続けしと

English Translation:
Oni and women should stay hidden from the eye
So it is said in an ancient text
Although they are kami; although called oni
They are the distant relatives of malevolent gods

One eye blinded, made into a scarecrow
Captured in an iwaiden
Cursed and scared, offered sacrifice
Rites to save your lives

Opening the northeast gate and see
All the gathering groups of yaksha
Selfishly hiding their own depravity are
Infant slaughtering Mabiki-oni

On a gloomy mountain where the air of death hangs in the air
An iwaiden stands amidst the silence
Now but a crippled deity
Is this my hermitage for eternity?

The awe of humans goes round in circles
Leasing and turning their eyes away from the honored Buddhist deities
Now living, now dying, turning into oni
It even now hides in the darkness of your mind

Hell's tormenting devils are being worshipped with ancestral spirits
Spirits of the dead Ama-no-jaku are taking form
