Facelift Review

I love this album to death, man. It was honestly my gateway into a lot of Metal, Grunge, and Alice in Chains' discography, and everything about it is so damn awesome. The riffs are sludgy, yet catchy, and they combine perfectly with Layne Staley's immaculate singing abilities. There's a couple gripes I have with this album; mostly the drumming and the Glam rock Influence wasn't for me. As well as some parts about the production and overall sound I feel like haven't aged very well. But everything else is so great that even with those downfalls I have no problem listening to this album for hours, cause I just can't get enough of Layne's singing and catchy hooks, Cantrell's catchy riffs, and even just the overall angst of the album really pulls me in.

남들이 아무리 좋다고 한들 내 귀에 맞지 않으면 음악감상을 고통이 될 수 밖에 없다.

그런지 얼터너티브 라는 단어로는 표현이 부족한 명반
앨리스 인 체인스의 음악은 헤비+싸이키델릭+광기+우울함
