To me the best album since Master of Puppets chronologically. Before the closing track, I had Justice ahead but the way this album demonstrated melodic sound, powerful vocals with range demonstrated by Hetfield, on-point drums and ripping guitar solo work by Hammett really put this album up in a huge way for me. To me it's easily top 4 but for me top 3: Master, Ride, Seasons.

Heavy album from Testament ! D.N.R. will always be one of my favorite opening tracks because of the eerie intro building up to an intense moshing that doesn't let up at all! Lots of good tracks but '80s Testament is more favorable to listen to, this one showcases Dave Lombardo from Slayer

SLAYERRRRRR! Talk about a fast album! Angel of Death, Altar of Sacrifice, and Raining Blood are my favorites off of this beast. I wasn't even born when this was released but I couldn't imagine how much adrenaline I would've had first listen because Slayer brought it through Seasons in the Abyss and this album got me into the band.

One of the greatest thrash metal albums ever released and Megadeth's best. Tornado of Souls could be the best song on the record but Holy Wars contends with it as well as Hangar 18 which has like 18 solos in it

This and Ride the Lightning are the best Metallica albums ever. I put this as the album that really put Metallica on the map even though Ride the Lightning was a success too but this is a favorite and has more standout tracks than any other album they've released. Favorites are Battery, Master, Disposable, Orion (possibly the best Instrumental ever), and Damage, Inc. but every track is incredible including the underrated Thinger.

Very good album. I like how complex it sounds to the predecessor albums, could be Gojira's most creative album but one of my favorites this year.

Album of the year for me, I couldn't believe how masterful this was! This was worth the 8 years we didn't hear a new Evile album. This is virtually a masterpiece and their best album!
