옛날에는 정말 귀에 안들어오던 밴드였는데 이딴걸 왜 듣지?하고 욕했을 정도였다. 나이먹고 거진 12년만에 다시 들어보니 갑자기 귀에 들어온다 몽환적인 분위기에 1번트랙부터 시작하면 앨범이 끝까지 끝날때까지 멈출수가 없다. 아주 중독적인 앨범

동시대를 함께 주름 잡았던 몇몇 대표적인 밴드들의 실망스러운 행보와 비교했을 때 데프톤스는 항상 양질의 음악, 앨범들을 발매해왔다. 그러한 의미에서 이 앨범 또한 다이아몬드 아이즈, 새터데이 나이트 리스트와 함께 밴드의 훌륭한 중후기 디스코그라피 중 하나다.

This album continues the ethereal sound of Diamond Eyes. Romantic Dreams, Entombed and Rosemary are some of the most beautiful songs i've heard, and Leathers, Tempest, Gauze and Goon Squad go so hard.

I tend to expect totally transcendent excellence from Deftones, but that's not fair, right? This is a pretty good album. I totally love Swerve City, but a lot of the softer songs feel not so focused, and Chino's vocal techniques, which I just love, sound a little out of place here & there. I know some people love this one, but for me it's just plain good.

Deftones식 shoegaze 앨범. 전작에 이어 수작이며 밀레니엄 Pink Floyd라고 칭하고싶을 정도로 몽환적인 메탈앨범이라 할 수 있다. Swerve City, Entombed, Tempest, Rosemary 등을 추천한다
