Regarded as deftones magnum opus, and for a reason. A different sound from Around the Fur, more alternative metal. Every song on here other than teenager is an absolute banger. Fav Songs: Feticiera, Knife Party, Korea, Pink Maggit

서서히 점화하여 거듭 폭발을 일으킨다. 에이브 커닝햄의 드럼은 가히 예술이다. passenger 는 꼭 짚고 넘어가야한다.

The world was pure paradise when White Pony was released. I bought the red version immediately, which has The Boy's Republic as the last track. The compositions are all thoughtful & gripping, and Chino's lyrics & how he sings them are the finest art there is. Decades pass and I still find new reasons why the songs are great.

If we discount Back to School as a song shoehorned by the label, this album is fucking perfect. Instrumentation in every song is downright impeccable, and Maynard Keenan in Passenger... c'mon, is this a real life?

뉴메탈에서 빼놓을 수 없는 앨범.

Passenger 하나만으로도 평가가 충분한 Deftones의 3집. 1집때와 사뭇 다르지만 충분히 즐길만하다.

데프톤즈 최고의 명반이라고 생각함. 듣기 싫은곡 하나 없고, 가벼운 곡 하나 없다.

'Passenger' 중간에 제임스 키넌 목소리 나올때 사막한가운데서 구세주를 맞이하는 느낌이었습니다. 스타일 변화는 좋은데 비슷비슷하게 연주하고 비슷비슷하게 불러대니 축쳐지기만 해요.ㅋ

골수 메탈팬들에게 있어서는 뉴메탈은 눈엣가시같은 존재이고 그들에게 허구한 날 까이는 불쌍한 장르이지만 데프톤즈만큼은 그 논쟁에서 벗어나 있다. 이들이 구사하는 뉴메탈은 처연한 치노의 보컬과 멜로디를 차용하여 장르적 한계에도 불구하고 우아하며, 섹시하다.

수작이기는 하나 이상하게 계속 찾게되는 음반은 아니었다 9번트랙 툴의 보컬과 환상의 콜라보!!!이건 죽어라 들음

내 생에 최고의 뉴메탈 앨범. 지금도 이 밴드를 뛰어넘는 뉴메탈 밴드는 없다고 생각한다.
