뭉툭하면서도 사악한 데스메탈. 질주하는 말의 발굽소리같은 드럼과 묵직한 베이스, 중독성있는 기타리프가 인상적이다. 보컬도 어딘가 공허하면서 사악한 것이 좋다. 전체적으로 뭉툭한 사운드가 상당히 매력적이다. 걸작까진 아니지만 뭔가 정감이 가고 마음에 드는 앨범. 89점.

skupina Disastrous Murmur na svojom prvom albume "Rhapsodies in Red" ponúka old school Death Metal v celkom svižnom tempe. Hudba je mierne jednotvárna, avšak riffy sú celkom dobré, bicie dosť využívajú dvojkopáky. Growling/rev ma akosi nezaujal.

Reminds of the gorey and muddy ambience of "butchered at birth" by CC. Fat bass and faded drums contribute largely to this sound. The vocals remind a bit of Obituary. This is the death metal gem from Austria.

기타에 모래를 뿌려둔 것 마냥 메마르고 까슬까슬한 기타 사운드와 드문드문 삽입한 공포스러운 분위기를 조성하는 키보드가 인상깊었던 앨범.

Very, very good album. It's solid as hell, even features some refreshing keyboards, something you don't often hear in retro Death Metal!
