리프나 곡의 구성도 지루하지 않고 길이도 적당하여 꽤나 괜찮게 들었던 앨범. 특히 살덩이가 떨어져나갈만큼 시원시원하게 긁어주는 보컬과 둔탁한 드럼소리가 마음에 든다. 86.5점.

무난하게 좋은 데스메탈인데 거품이 좀 꼈던 시절이 있었다. 컬렉터들의 수집용 음반으로는 제격이긴 했다. 음악은 당시의 스웨덴식 데스메탈 프로덕션 중 가장 깔끔한 편이고 어디 모난 곳 없이 탄탄한 연주를 선보인다. 그 이상을 보여주지 못해서 오래 들을 음악이 아닐 뿐.

그냥저냥 괜찮은 스웨디시 데스메탈. 몇년전 메킹에서도 이 앨범이 잠깐 핫했어서 그 때 처음 접해 들었었고 해외에서도 대부분 호평 그 이상을 받던데 아무리 들어도 이해가 가지 않는다. 차라리 Carnage 1집이 훠얼씬 낫다고 생각하고 이걸 들을 시간에 딱히 좋아하지는 않는 Incantation 1집을 더 듣겠다.

고어먼트와 함께 진정한 스웨디시 데스 top2이다. 고어먼트와 대비되는 더 탄탄하고 안정적인 리프 전개를 통한 구조 발전으로 승부를 본다. 리프들도 데스메탈답게 하나같이 다 해괴하게 비틀려있다.
