Pacing is a strong element that Ingested has always been successful with and that is showcased in the first half, especially. However that sort of takes a turn by the end with last part of the album drags into a death doom metal sound. An experiment that could have worked better if they had a little bit more aggression in them to blend with the rest of the album’s tone. This is still, another solid addition from the band and will not disappoint.

This is one of the better albums released in this genre this year. Certainly a great follow up to their previous, and they're a great band to see live.
