개취로 이전 싱글모음집 Kataklysm Part 1 첫곳 Fronzen in time에서의 인트로에서의 vocal 스크리밍이 너무 인상적이어서 관심있게 들어보았다. 이들의 골수팬은 아니지만 첫번째 vocal Sylvain이 재직 시 사생결단으로 각잡고 만들어낸 이 앨범이 이들 디스코라피중에 가장 빛난던 순간이 아닐까 한다. 앨범 커버에서부터 명작의 스멜이 풍긴다..

Kataklysm의 강력한 정규 데뷔앨범. 전체적으로 리프의 구성이 짜임새있고 어느정도 멜로딕한 감도 있다. 아직 좀 더 들어봐야 할 것 같지만 멋진 앨범. 92점.

처음엔 정신 산만하고 이게 뭔가 싶었는데, 열 번을 넘게 돌려 들으니 리프, 멜로디, 곡구성이 아주 일품인 앨범인걸 알았다. 복날 사철탕집 안끌려가려 절규하는 황구마냥 우렁차게 '왈왈왈' 잘 짖어대는 리드보컬과 3번트랙 마지막에 '도미노! 도미노! 도미노!'를 외치며 피자를 사달라고 조르는 꼬맹이 백보컬의 조화가 아주 일품이다.

Very very awesome Canadian death metal. It has moments where you can just close your eyes and listen to the album, saying to yourself "fuck yeah!".
