그루브 리프들의 연쇄로 귓구멍속 그라인드는 확실하게 담당하는 네이팜데스, 역시나 입니다. 어느새인가 마구잡이로 부수던 그라인드코어 스타일보다는 잘 정돈해서 짜놓은 데스메탈식 구성이 메인이 되어버렸지만, 묵직함은 어디 안갔습니다. 매캐한 톤과 뿌연 그로울링, 적절한 속도, 리프의 찰기가 취향에 맞는다면 대가리 떨어질때까지 흔들수있겠습니다.

Barney의 하수구에서 오수가 역류하는 것을 방불케 하는 야만적이고 거친 그로울링과 1,2집의 우리가 아는 그라인드코어식 무자비한 진행을 허용하고도 절제적이면서 끓어오르는 분노를 표출하는 멜로디는, 이들이 카르카스와 함께 그라인드코어의 질주감과 데스 메탈의 기교를 접목시킨 음악의 첨병일 수 있었던 이유를 앨범 내내 포효하며 우리를 이해시킨다.

Most Napalm Death releases pump me up no matter how much I listen to it. This album, Fear, Emptiness, Despair, shows a rather organic/organized sound, but still is no exception.
