지독하게 밀고 나가는거 하나는 죽여주는 밴드. 시궁창 보컬에 폐수 리프들이 육중하게 귓구멍 속으로 몰아칩니다. 그라인드코어 근본의 근본을 보여준 데뷔작 Scum 에 비해서, 본작은 각 곡들이 형태와 윤곽을 갖추고 있고 사운드적으로도 정리가 되어있어 장르면으로 보자면 변화가 있다고 볼수있겠습니다. 그라인드코어보다는 데스메탈을 지향하고 있습니다.

전 멤버였던 Bill Steer의 Carcass와 유사하게도 밴드 초기의 그라인드 코어적인 모습은 많이 사라지고 데스메탈을 들려줌. 전매특허인 블래스트 비트 드러밍을 앞세운 광폭함은 탁월하지만 곡 개개의 매력은 좀 부족.

예전 크래쉬 데뷔앨범 PD로 초청되었던 콜린 리차드슨이 같은 업계PD인 스콧번즈와의 비교질문에 본인은 스콧보다 좀 더 파워풀하게 앨범을 만든다면 스콧은 소리는 이쁘게 만드는 재주는 있으나 파워가 떨어진다라는 인터뷰를 한 적이 있는데 그의 말대로 스콧이 프로듀스한 전작 Harmony corruption보다 본작이 훨씬 파워가 넘치는 앨범이며 나 또한 더 애정한다.

Grindcore 보다는 왠지 부르다만 death 쪽에 더 가깝다. 이들의 초기작부터 들어온 분들이라면 death쪽으로의 전향이 그렇게 탐탁치는 않을 것이다. 초기작들에 대한 향수를 불러일으키는 앨범

92년도에 압구정 상아레코드던가...회현 지하상가 상아레코드에서 CD를 구입함. 처음 네이팜 데쓰를 처음 접했던 앨범이라 그런지 상당히 좋게 들었습니다. The World Keeps Turning은 지금 들어도 참 좋습니다~

Another pretty nice mix up of Death Metal and Grindcore. What makes this album shine is the groovy, headbang-inducing amazing riffs.
