프로그레시브 락에 영국식 사이키델릭이 섞여있는 듯하다. 멜로디도 감미롭고 무엇보다 핑크 플로이드 같은 음악을 만들고 싶었지만 이뤄내지 못한 다른 뮤지션들과 달리 이 앨범은 원하는 바를 이뤄냈다는 점이 독특하다. 라디오헤드, 나인 인치 네일스 등등 각각 독보적인 입지를 구축했지만 핑크 플로이드와 비슷한 코드, 스케일, 심지어 녹음 장비까지 동원했어도 핑크 플로이드의 후계자는 되지 못했는데... 포큐파인 트리는 딱 핵심을 짚어냈다. 원하는 바를 제대로 손에 넣었다는 점이 무엇보다 가장 인상깊다는 말. 추천트랙은 1, 2, 4번 트랙이다.

Psychedelic 락에 프로그레시브 의 조화가 상당하다. 이들이 만들어내는 감성으로 빠져드는데 장난이 아니다.
