데뷔앨범치곤 상당히 훌륭한 내용물을 담고 있다. 이 앨범에서는 뒤에 나올 앨범들의 엄청난 포스와는 비교할 순 없지만 괜찮은 수준의 로우 블랙메탈을 들려주고 있다. 로우 블랙으로 나갔어도 충분히 성공할 수 있었을 것이다. 확실히 Deathspell Omega는 여타의 블랙메탈밴드들보다 우월하다. '될성부른 나무는 떡잎부터 알아본다'고 이들이 이 속담에 어울린다. 그러나 조악한 음질은 앨범자체의 완성도를 심각하게 깍아먹는 결함을 가지고 있다. 음질만 더 좋았다면 데뷔앨범으로서는 상당한 가치를 지닌 앨범이 됬을 텐데 이 망할 음질은 듣기에 거북살 스럽기까지 하다.
