와치타워나 페이츠워닝의 초기 앨범들은 불협화음과 직선적인 멜로디라인을 잘 살려 건조하지만 아주 멋진 작품들을 만든것 같고, 메콩델타의 경우가 극도의 불협화음으로 청자를 어지럽히지만 미묘한 질서와 리듬감으로 또다른 만족감을 줬던 것에 반해 본작은 그 불협화음조차도 깨버린, '극강의 지맘대로의 음악'을 선보여준다. 중간중간 매우 솔깃한 리듬군들이 몰려있기 때문에 폐급으로 취급당하기엔 아까운 작품이라 생각... 달리의 그림을 커버로 채용한 만큼 그 정도의 '지맘대로'를 각오하고 듣는다면 의외로 눈이 번쩍 뜨일 부분들이 많을 수도...
